The Union submitted another information request to the Company because when reviewing all the information the company has provided; it prompted another request.

This is to advise that the tentative agreement reached by the parties on July 9, 2014 was not ratified by the membership.

The Union and Company returned to the bargaining table today at 1:00 pm to continue bargaining after the last package offer was rejected by the membership.

This year, 2014, has been an eventful year so far for the technicians and warehouse group in Farmers Branch, Texas. May of this year the technicians of Farmers Branch fought off a Decertification Election by voting to remain UNION and continue to have the Communications Workers of America represent them.

We are pleased to announce that we have reached a “Tentative Agreement” with YP Holdings late this afternoon on a new contract.

The Communications Workers of America District 6 has received confirmation that the tentative agreement that was reached on April 18, 2014 has been ratified.

The Communications Workers of America and CenturyLink of MO reached an agreement after reviewing the Company’s last package offer. The highlights of the agreement are outlined below. The Bargaining Committee will host a conference call to explain the changes in detail. The date and time of the call will be communicated in the immediate future and details will be updated on the hotline and website. The Bargaining Committee gives a “Neutral” Recommendation on the agreement for ratification.

The Union and Company met via conference call on May 21, 2014, no agreements were reached. We continue to review proposals in an effort to reach a tentative agreement.
