Andy Owens Community Service Award

Tony Ellebracht is being presented with the “ Andy Owens Community Service Award” from the Greater St. Louis Labor Council. Tony served on the Executive Board of CWA Local 6310 for over 31 years, the last 15 years as President. (Local 6310 have since merged with Local 6320 to become Local 6300.)

 

This award was created to recognize a specific Union Member whose life and work, on behalf of his fellow man, is exemplary.  The St. Louis area has been blessed with many such dedicated labor leaders who have helped make St. Louis and its surrounding areas the “Labor Town” that it is today.

 

Andy Owens was one of those labor leaders, who dedicated his years to helping others.
