The Union and the Company met yesterday, October 26, 2009 for the opening of 2009 negotiations.  During the meeting both parties showed interest in reaching an agreement that the Union, Company, and members would support.

 

The Union presented all of their proposals to the Company after which, discussions began on those proposals.  The parties agreed to recess and will plan to hold joint meetings on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, to further discuss proposals.  The Union will provide the Company with additional information on the proposals.

 

Remember this is your contract; mobilization is the key to our success, and your future.

 

Wear Red on Thursday and Black on Friday.
