CWA/AT&T Bargaining Report #136

This bargaining report is for Monday, September 21, 2009. The Leverage Title Sub-Committee met today to continue discussions. The Company provided some of the documentation that the Union had requested in reference to the Leverage Title 40% payout. After a lengthy discussion with numerous clarifying questions asked by the Union, the Company agreed to research and respond accordingly.
Discussions also took place pertaining to the renewal of the Service Representative Task Force Agreement. The Company is adamant about changing the current language of this agreement, particularly the protections for Service Representatives that do not meet the Sales Objective. The Company has also requested to delete the Average Handling Time and Adherence section of the Agreement. CWA's lawsuit that is pending over the number of Closed Key Times that Service Representatives can take, was also discussed.
The Union also requested an update on the status of the Incentive Plan information that was requested on July 7, 2009.
