CWA Local 6360/ Lan-Tel Communications Bargaining Report #1

The Union met with the Company on October 5, 2009.  The Union presented 5 proposals; Vacations, Excused Work Days, Per Diem, Grievances and Piece Work.  The Company reviewed our proposals and presented 6 proposals; Grievances, Jurisdiction, Healthcare, Training, Wages, and Commercial Drivers License on October 7, 2009.

The Union and Company met again on October 8, 2009, to have further discussion regarding Healthcare, Wages and Jurisdiction.  No agreements were reached.

 

The Union and Company agreed to extend the current contract by one (1) week.  The contract will expire on October 21, 2009.

 

We are scheduled to meet again on October 19, 20 and 21, 2009, to reach an agreement.
