Final Bargaining Report

Contract Ratification

 

On November 1, 2009, the final ratification vote was taken.  It was overwhelmingly approved by the members to ratify the tentative agreement.

 

The tentative agreement included, but is not limited to the following:

o        1 year contract

o        Wage increases for all titles

o        MOA – for Leave of Absence Banking Committee

 

Contract books to follow and will be provided by Local 6012.

 

On the final night of bargaining, October 31, 2009, the members of the bargaining unit came out in full force to support their bargaining committee.  It sent a loud and clear message to the Cooperative that they wanted a fair and just agreement.

 

We would like to thank all who supported us during these tough times.  The support of all was both exhilarating and refreshing to the bargaining committee.
