CWA/Northeast Oklahoma Electric Co-Op Bargaining Report #2

Yesterday, October 13, 2009, your CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company bargaining committee.  The Union Bargaining Committee passed bargaining proposals for Article 6 – Work Schedules, Overtime and On Call, Article 15 – Group Insurance and Article 29 Duration.  The Company passed bargaining counter proposals on Article 15 – Group Insurance, Article 10 – Vacations, Article 11 – Holidays and Article 6 – Work Schedules.  Tentative Agreements were reached on Article 19 – Tools and Equipment, Article 20 – Bulletin Boards and Article 27 – Pay Period.  The Company presented a table to the CWA Committee documenting both the Union’s and Company’s economic package costs.  Bargaining continued until after 10 p.m. as both sides discussed proposals.

 

Negotiations will resume at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 14, 2009.
