What will change:
Sprint to Embarq - The name Sprint wherever it appears in the labor agreement will be changed to Embarq.
Seniority - New language identifying how seniority will be calculated when two employees are hired on the same date.
EIPP - Boilerplate language changes only.
EIPP - Improvement from $20,000 to $24,000.
Flexible Benefits - Boilerplate language changes and MOA for the term of the agreement whereby Company agrees to pay for Basic long term disability coverage.
Voluntary Benefits - Addition of critical Illness Insurance coverage.
Vacation Selection - The initial period of time for selection of vacation changed from October 15 to September 1.
Leave of Absence - Administration of leave of absence revised to comply with Embarq policy.
Embarq phone concession - Sprint phone concession replaced with Embarq phone concession.
Savings Plan - Addition of Catch up language and Company matching contribution equal to 25% of the participant's bi-weekly basic contribution.
Pension - Boilerplate changes only.
Incentive Recognition - Enabling language
Location Placement - Process to transfer employees from one location to another within the same job title without having to post vacancy.
Incharge - Increased incharge differential from .80 cents to $1.25.
Language Differential - Added new language providing for a language differential in the call center at $1.50 per hour.
Incremental Vacation - Language revised to permit employees to take 40 hours of vacation and/or floating holidays in increments of 1 hour.
Funeral Leave - Revised language to add greater clarity to the article.
Uniforms - Increased Company credit from $200 to $225 effective 10/01/08.
Customer Service Night Differential - Increased night differential from .65 cents to $1.00.
Call Center Night Differential - Increased night differential from .45 cents to .75 cents.
Wages: Retroactive to October 1, 2007: 2007 - 1.3%, 1.2% - 2008 - 1.3%, 1.2% - 2009 - 1.2%, 1.2% semi-annually
DSL - Extension of memorandum of agreement.
Length of Agreement - 3 year agreement expiring on September 30, 2007.
Coach Differential - Differential increased to $3.00 over life of agreement.
Termination Pay - Memorandum of Agreement offered to address termination pay for those employees with less than 5 years of service at the time of call center closing.
Lump Sum - $200 to Consumer Solution Representatives on the payroll records on the anniversary date of each year.
Short Term Incentive - STI applicable to all employees for the calendar year of 2007 in accordance with the Embarq STI policy.
