On Friday, September 23, 2016, your CWA Bargaining Committee met in multiple negotiation sessions with the Company Committee.  During the afternoonbargaining session the Company Committee presented the Union Committee with what it described as their “final offer.”

On Tuesday afternoon, September 20, 2016, the CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company Committee.  The Company Committee presented the Union Committee with complete package proposals.  There were separate proposals for Districts 3, 4 and 6.

On Monday, September 19, 2016, your CWA Bargaining Committee presented the Company with comprehensive package proposals.  The Union rejected the Company’s September 16, 2016 package proposals.  The Union Committee informed the Company that their package proposals from September 16, 2016,were inadequate in many areas and did not meet our Member’s needs.

On Sunday, September 18, 2016, your CWA Bargaining Committee began meeting early in the morning to continue analyzing the Company’s package proposals from September 16, 2016 to CWA Districts 3, 4 and 6.

Your CWA Bargaining Committee worked all day Saturday and into the evening analyzing the Company’s latest package offers and the data the Union requested.  The Company’s package proposals from September 16, 2016 included wage treatment and benefits.

Your CWA Union Bargaining Committee and the Company Bargaining Committee met on Friday afternoon.  The Company rejected the Union’s entire bargaining package proposal.  After rejecting the Union’s proposal, the Company presented their second package proposal to your CWA Bargaining Committee.

On Thursday, September 15, 2016, the Union and Company bargaining committees met. Your CWA Bargaining Committee rejected the Company’s first package proposal.  The Union committee presented the Company a package counter proposal and explained all of the Union’s bargaining proposals.

Your Bargaining Committee attempted to meet with the Company on three occasions yesterday. I say attempted because the company was not there to negotiate with us. They were there just to go through the motions.

week CWA filed Labor Board charges on the Company.

With Verizon leaving the table, your Committee continued working on information requests and putting proposals together upon the Company’s return. With that being said, this will be the last Bargaining Report until we meet again with the Company next week.
