Consolidated (Lufkin/Conroe) Bargaining Report #14

Your CWA Bargaining Committee and the Company met Monday, November 7, 2016.  The parties discussed outstanding proposals at length.  The Union also presented the Company with an information request in order to further understand Company proposals.  The parties agreed to reconvene negotiations on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.

Your CWA Bargaining Committee wishes to again commend the membership on their OVERWHELMING support as was clearly displayed with both the tremendous turnout at the two meetings held last week as well as the nearly unanimous vote of the membership to give the National Executive Board the right to call a strike if the Committee ultimately believes such action becomes necessary.  Combined, nearly 75% of the membership attended the two meetings with 98% voting YES on the Strike Authorization Vote.

Your CWA Bargaining Committee Thanks the Membership for Remaining United!
