The Union and Company met throughout the day to continue negotiations as the expiration draws near, January 31, 2015.
The Union revised UP 12, Overtime; UP 17, Vacations; and UP 19, Uniforms.
The Union withdrew the following proposals; UP 3, Sun Protective Clothing; UP 7, Pallbearer; UP 9, Adequate Rest; UP 14, Standby; and UP 15, Veterans Day.
The Union Countered CP 22, Savings Plan; CP 7, Layoffs; and CP 21, Pensions.
We reached a tentative agreement on the following proposals; UP 1, Combine Contracts; UP 16, Holidays; and UP 31, MOA DSL.
The Company presented the Union with Package Proposal 1 which included a counter wage proposal.
No other agreements were reached.
We are scheduled to meet with the Company tomorrow, Saturday, January 31, 2015.
The contract expires at midnight, January 31, 2015.
