The Union met with the Company on July 27, 2015 to open negotiations with CenturyLink of Arkansas. Your Bargaining Committee consists of CWA Staff Representative Jason Vellmer, Local 6171 President Ken Conner, Local 6171 Vice President Cody Rickey, and Committee Member Jeff Cole. The Company is represented by Lead Negotiator Dan Gronniger and Managers Patty Perkins, Cookie Place, and Gary Lloyd. After opening remarks the Company presented the Union with 53 proposals related to the merging of the Northwest and Central Agreements with several retrogressive proposals covering sickness and disability, 401k, new hire pension, and force adjustment. The committee is reviewing all the proposals and considering their impact on the membership. Our next bargaining session is scheduled for July 28, 2015 through July 31, 2015.
