Dish Network Bargaining Report #3

Your CWA Bargaining Committee met on April 16 and 17, 2012, with the Company attorney and a local representative from Human Resources. 

The Union and Company had good discussions on the following proposals:

• Union Recognition (as it relates to creation of new job titles)
• Payroll Deductions
• Grievance and Arbitration Procedures
• Hours of Work, ie: Breaks, Home Dispatch
• Overtime
• Company-Union Relationship
• Bilingual Materials
• Seniority, ie:  Layoffs, Transfers, and Promotions
• Wages
• Subcontracting
• Tools and Equipment

The parties agreed to contract language regarding Absences, Paid Days Off, Benefits, and Overtime.

We are scheduled to meet again May 30 and 31, 2012, and June 20 and 21, 2012.
