Grand River Mutual Telephone Company Bargaining Report #3

The Union and Company met March 29 and 30, 2012, and reached a tentative agreement on a new three (3) year contract.

We agreed to the following:

Article 5 – Vacations    Improve language
Article 12.3 – On-Call    Minor wording change
Article 20.1 – Medical Expense Plan  Language clean up
New Article     Contract Work
New Memorandum of Agreement  Recognition/Incentives

Wages: 1% March 2012, 1% March 2013 and 1% March 2014

Health Care: .5% 2012, 1.25% 2013, 1% 2014 and 1% (Jan, Feb, and Mar) 2015

Your Local will be setting up a contract explanation meeting in the near future. Please check the union bulletin boards for the date and time.
