The Joint Committees reconvened talks yesterday. Last week, the Company presented three initial proposals on changes to Article 9 - Medical Leave of Absence, elimination of two obsolete titles - Off-set Camera Operator and Darkroom Technician, and changes to Article 3 section 3.02 - Holidays. The Union’s initial proposal package of 14 items calling for improvements in 11 articles of the contract was based on the surveys we received. We told the Company our members’ top priorities are a significant wage increase, improvements to vacation, number of holidays and sick pay, and improvements to the 401K plan. The Company rejected our proposals on improvements to Profit Sharing, improvements to Sick Pay, defined matching on 401K, Holidays and Vacation. The Union’s proposals are still on the table and we are holding firm to your demands!
