The Union (CWA) and Company (CenturyLink/Lumen) reached a tentative agreement this afternoon, April 23, on a new 3 year contract, pending member ratification.
On December 18, 2019, the Consolidated Communications bargaining team walked away from our contract negotiations. The Company wanted the Union’s bargaining team to withdraw a Union proposal and accept a Company proposal without even trying to negotiate a fair resolution.
Due to the uncertainty of the timeline of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are cancelling this year’s District 6 Conference scheduled for August 24-25, 2020 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.
