The company presented a full counterproposal package to the Union at today's meeting. The Union is working on assessing it and it will require us to submit a few requests for information when we meet with them again.
The Union and Company continued negotiating towards a successor agreement. The Union was able to reach an agreement with the Company on improvements to Bereavement Leave and day-at-a-time Vacation in four hour increments.
Your committee sent the company a very big and comprehensive set of proposals for them to consider on Monday that would just leave wages outstanding. We submitted additional information requests to the company on Tuesday regarding seniority and wages including compensation.
Today your committee went over the information requests that have been filled by the company. We also assessed all the companies counter proposals to our Union proposals. We discussed what proposals the Union needs to make next.
