Your CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.  The Company did not present a bargaining proposal to the Union.  Both Committees questioned the other on the following items:

The CWA Bargaining Committee spent Tuesday, February 22, 2017, studying data that has been provided by the Company.  The Committee continued to question the Company on their proposals and to request further data.  The Union Bargaining Committee will be meeting with the Company Committee on Wednesday afternoon.

Your CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company on Monday, February 20, 2017, to present bargaining demands.  The Union Committee presented the following demands:

Your CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company on February 17, 2017, and then continued meeting over the weekend.  The Union questioned the Company on their package proposal of February 16, 2017, to fully understand what the Company had presented.

The CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company on February 16, 2017.  The Company presented a complete package proposal to the Union.  The Union Committee worked late into the evening analyzing the Company’s package of proposals.

Your CWA Bargaining Committee on February 15, 2017, spent the day studying data the Company had provided in previous negotiation sessions.  The Company had presented a bargaining demand regarding a new Home Dispatch Program for Premise Technicians.

The CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company on February 14, 2017, and presented a comprehensive Modified Union Demand Package.  The Union Committee’s Demand Package was in response to the completely unacceptable Company Demand Package.

As was conveyed in the January 20, 2017 Bargaining Report, the parties last met on 01/18-19/17.  Your CWA Bargaining Committee had expected a response to our 12/01/16 package proposal and, if not accepted, a counter from the Company.

The CWA Bargaining Committee worked throughout the day, on February 13, 2017, and then late into the evening to prepare a response to the Company’s first bargaining package.   As you have read in Bargaining Reports #8 and #9 the Company’s first proposal has no chance of being accepted by your Bargaining Committee.

The Union met with the Company, Bumperactive.com, on January 30, 2017 and February 3 & 10, 2017 to negotiate a new contract.

As discussed in Bargaining Report #8, this is a follow-up bargaining report regarding only Appendix J Employees.  Many of the Company’s Bargaining demands in Bargaining Report #8 affect Appendix J Employees.  The Company Bargaining demands listed in this report are specific to Appendix J Employees.

The CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company on February 9, 2017.  The Company presented a complete package proposal to the Union.  The Union Bargaining Committee spent Friday, February 10, 2017 and the entire weekend meeting with the Company, as well as analyzing the package to fully understand the totality of the Company proposal.

The CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company on February 9, 2017, for a long negotiating session during the afternoon.  The CWA bargaining chair, Mike Neumann, provided answers to the Company on previous questions they had regarding the Union’s proposals.

The CWA Bargaining Committee and the Company remained on-call February 8, 2017.  The Union Committee continued to study data that the Company had presented regarding the pension plans and bridging of Net Credited Service.

The CWA Bargaining Committee met multiple times on February 7, 2017, with the Company to continue presenting Union bargaining proposals. After long periods of discussions with the Company, your Bargaining Committee then recessed for the day to go back to prepare new proposals and data requests.

During the weekend, your CWA Bargaining Committee studied data the Company had provided, and continued to question the Company on that data.  The Committee prepared for Monday’s negotiating session and presented our Member’s bargaining demands on Appendix J items.
