Your CWA 6171 Bargaining Committee is pleased to announce we have reached a Tentative Agreement with Windstream. We appreciate everyone supporting the committee during these long days of negotiations.  We were up against a tall task, with Windstream in bankruptcy, to balance getting a fair and just agreement and recognizing where the company finances and stock prices are currently. 

Today was a big day in negotiations as the company made some beneficial movement on several outstanding proposals. We passed counters back and forth and we feel we are in a good place going into expiration day. Tell your manager we want a fair contract and wear black tomorrow.
